As a new employee of Advans, I had the privilege of going on my first sales call along with an experienced co-worker of mine last week. I decided to write about the buzz going on in the conversations with our clients; one a previous customer and the other a prospect.
I noticed that when it comes to IT services, both customers were particularly interested in whether or not Advans offers off-shore capabilities. Reasoning behind this? Probably because, contracting to an outsourcing service provider is the quickest way to go offshore, since you don’t have to hire and train workers or rent an office and set up your own infrastructure.
With a consulting company, the hourly rate can be higher but the overall cost less. They’re not your team, but you can stop relationships more easily if you need to. So, the overall quality and reliability of service is higher. Needless to say, I am certainly not surprised why off-shore capabilities is of vital importance when it comes to shopping around for an IT service. Rest assured to say, we were able to ensure our customer that we offer off-shore capabilities.
